At our Healthy Living Centre in Cairns, we have a range of classes to support your health and wellness, delivered by our highly experienced allied health team. Whether you need to stretch your muscles or manage pain, or are looking to improve your upper limb function, there is something here for everyone.

Upper Limb Rehab Group Classes
We offer Upper Limb Rehab sessions run in small groups over a six-week block at the Healthy Living Centre in Cairns. These sessions suit anyone looking to work on their hand and arm function to assist with day-to-day activities including putting on a shirt, typing on a keyboard and picking up a pen.
When: Multiple times available – classes run over a six-week block

Hydrotherapy
Looking to improve your range of motion, reduce pain and improve muscle strength? Our experienced Exercise Physiologists offer hydrotherapy sessions at our onsite hydrotherapy pool. Hydrotherapy consists of performing exercises and stretches while submerged in warm water to assist with decreasing pain, improving strength, cardiovascular fitness, and range of motion of joints.

Adaptive Yoga and Meditation Classes
Yoga instructor Catherine offers 60-minute Adaptive Yoga and Meditation group classes. These classes can help to reduce stress and improve your strength, balance, joint health and general health and wellbeing.

Driving Assessments
Is a physical disability, injury or medical condition affecting your driving ability? Our registered Driver Occupational Therapists have received specialist training to assist people with a physical disability to return to driving or start for the first time.
When: We offer individual sessions by appointment.

Exercise Physiology Telehealth Classes
Our Exercise Physiologist Laura Chapman will be leading group classes via telehealth that allow you the flexibility to participate in exercise classes within the comfort of your own home! These classes are available to anyone in any location that has access to the internet and either a computer, iPad, or tablet. Book now to secure your spot! Classes run over a six-week block.
When: Mondays, 1pm – 1.45pm (AEST)
